Tunnel cover modification

Hours Worked = 1.5

The forward tunnel cover needs to be modified to work with the control approach rudder pedals. This pedal system has a pair of arms that extend down into the tunnel, where they attach to the rudder cables.

In order to accomidate this, I chose to both cut two slots to fit the arms and also split the tunnel cover to make installation possible without removing the rudder cables.

It was pretty straight forward. I just needed to put the tunnel cover in place, and see where the arms fell. I then removed the tunnel cover an drew out the cut lines, then cut the slots out with a dremel.

Once the cover was cut, I reinstalled the cover and made sure that the rudder pedals cleared, and added a tab to secure the two parts of the tunnel cover.

Video was too fast! I felt like I was watching an old silent moving in fast forward. However, I must say..I am impressed on your ability to master this project. It looks like you are enjoying the process as well.

Any projected time frame when you think it might be completed?

    Enjoy!
