And again. This time, the focus was getting the edge between the fiberglass and the windows perfect. The windows are masked with a combination of 3M FineLine tape for the final edge, and masking tape and electrical tape for the rough masking. Basically, I’m sanding the fiberglass edge down flush with the FineLine tape, which is about 3.5 mil thick. Once painted, there should be a very nice finished edge there.
This is a pretty slow process, because you’re talking about sanding down just a few mils, and you’re working with sandpaper very close to your nice smooth windows!
