The snorkel transition fiberglass I laid up yesterday is fully cured, so today I pulled out the foam form piece and trimmed the transition to shape and sanded the inner surface as smooth as I could without filling. That will come a little later.
Next up was trimming a pretty big hole into the left air inlet ramp. The prop governor interferes with this ramp, and the ramp needs to be notched for cowl to fit. A few times back and forth, and the ramp had a nice close fit with the prop governor, but didn’t interfere.
And finally, I ended the day by finishing building the upper hinge pin retainer.
