It’s Nun-sense Around Here!

It was been ridiculously hot and busy around the house. Guess what the latest nonsense nun-sense is. Let me give you a hint…

No, I haven’t joined a convent and left Ed alone with the airplane. I’m playing a nun, postulate to be precise, in our Hastings community theater production of The Sound of Music!

It’s been a total blast singing with the nuns and learning the rosary, but definitely taken up any extra airplane/chicken/donkey time since the start of summer. Big thanks to Eddie for stepping in and helping a “sister” out!

My fav part? Ofcourse the singing, meeting new people and Nun flash mobs at local establishments and parades.

Here’s me checking out some pink kicks at Kohls with the ladies.

Performances start in 2 weeks so wish me luck AND if you’re in town…check out the show!

I may have to go back to Kohls for these cute tennies – when I’m not in a nun flash mob.

Nun flash MOBs… what a great way to promote the performance. I’m looking forward to meeting Ed at OSH in a few days. Don’t know if you’re coming to, Colleen, but that post on the blog is funny! I’m enjoying following your build, even though Ed (and you) are passing me by! Anyway, it’s a good excuse for me to get down in the shop when I see how fast your 10 is coming along. Maybe we’ll finish around the same time. Although, at my current pace, I doubt it.

    Hi Mike!
Unfortunately I have Sound of Music performances during OSH so I won’t be there:( Too bad – I had mentioned to Ed last year that I’d like to check it out at some point. Next year for sure!

I don’t think Ed has been moving as fast with this excessive heat and lack of air conditioning in the garage. Sticky, hot and mosquitos aren’t the most comfortable environment.

Will you be doing the potluck as well at OSH?
