The flap system is pretty straight forward. It’s just a rod that is rotated by a linear actuator. On each end of the rod is an arm. These arms will be connected to the flaps so that when the rod is turned one way, the flaps go down. Turn the rod the other way, the flaps go up.
Tonight, I used the supplied jig to match drill the rods to the various arms, and primed the inside of the steel tubes. I also had to cut to shape the plastic blocks that the rods ride in.
