Too bad I didn’t. Instead, I did the responsible thing and did some maintenance that needed to be done on my car.
At 105,000 miles, my car was kind enough to let me know that it felt like getting an A14 service. In Acura speak, this is a new water pump, timing belt, spark plugs, accessory belt, and an oil change while we’re at it. Nothing was broken, but they’ve figured out what the safe useful lives of these parts are, so they get changed BEFORE the break.
So that’s what I did today. For 7 hours. But now it’s done. And I shouldn’t have to do that again for another 100,000 miles!
Time to get some pizza!
